What is the difference between Static and Dynamic websites?

Static websites are websites which are not connected to databases to show data on the website; Static websites rely on all the coding to be done on the local file. Dynamic websites are websites that link to databases to show infomration on the website. For example, an E-Commerce website is dynamic as this pulls products of a database so that they can be seen by the user without adding all the products in the local web file. Another example is a social media website, this is dynamic as this has dynamic data such as your information and posts.

What is the process of desiging a website?

We have a 6 to 7 step process when designing a website. The first step is to gather information we need to build a website, a word document is required by you that includes the colours wanted to be used, images and any text we need. After that we we will move on the planning step where we create a sitemap sketch, wire-frame/mock-up and select the technology stack for the website. (All of these files will be uploaded to the CRM). Next is the design stage where we create the website and review the layouts with yourself to get feedback on how the website looks, from this we will change the layout where requried. The next step is the content assembly where we put all the text together with the design. Step 5 is the coding step where we code the website on the layout that you accepted and will add any special features and interactivity at this time, as well as setting up the SEO (if an SEO management plan has been chosen). Step 6 is testing, review and launch. This is when we test the website on multiple browsers to make sure that the website works with common browsers (We will upload the website to our server to test). Step 7 is an option step which is if the website maintenance plan has been chosen, with this step we will add a user report system, fix bugs regulary and keep your website up to date.
